Enthusiasts of local entertainment are in for a musical treat with ‘A Night with Dramaboi and ATI’. The event, which is curated by local promoter Godwin ‘Xotic’ Sebina, will be on the 24th of February at the Bank of Botswana (BOB) Grounds in Gaborone Block 5.

Xotic states that behind the event is the need to create events with local headliners. “I wanted to prove that local acts can headline events that Batswana can support. It’s not always the case that people want foreign acts; they just want relevant artists. I believe ATI and Dramaboi have a great following that can achieve that.”

ATI’s hit ‘Khiring khorong’ catapulted the rapper to being one of the hottest artists in 2017, while Dramaboi has resurfaced with Setakile, which is receiving acclaim on local radio stations, which for Xotic, makes them ideal headliners. Supporting acts at the event will include Shaft People, Hapex Guru, Rittar, Quest Playtonic, Onks, Cody, DJ Tosh and others.

“We will also have ladies 5-aside tournament during the day along with other activities. This event speaks to anyone who wants to have a great day as well as support local talent. People should anticipate a well-planned event that is strictly local. The artists are excited to perform as well,” intimated Xotic.

Tickets to the event will be sold at the gate.
