Kalahari Fresh, a local online multi grocery store, has unveiled its e-commerce website.
Just like an in-store, the site has a wide variety of categories including essential items such as fruit & vegetables, beauty products, frozen food, baby essentials, beverages, beverages, health and many more.
In an era in which shoppers are fast embracing technology, customers have the convenience of choosing from the vast array of products availed by local retailers (of both local and imported goods).
Site developer, Captive Labs, explains that the platform speaks to what current consumers need.
“We are thrilled to officially introduce our new product, the Kalahari Fresh online store. We saw a great opportunity to create a platform that could be convenient to consumers nationwide, particularly during this covid-19 pandemic,” says Captive Labs Founder, Charles Seotseneng.
Their interface, Seotseneng notes is user friendly and includes options such as refunds to ensure that consumers get the value they deserve. Consumer’s data he says is protected and the site complies with Botswana’s Data Protection Act 2018.
Captive Labs has since made an open call to all local entrepreneurs to register their businesses with them for market access.
“Our registration is currently free for local small businesses looking to widen their customer reach and delivery. They can register with our platform and directly sell to their customers. Businesses can register a user account and then further register to become a seller on the website. Online store owners do not have to worry about exuberant rent fees or operating hours, but instead get to enjoy the fact that their products can be purchased anytime, anywhere,” explains Seotseneng.
Kalahari Fresh promises to offer a great assortment and selection of merchandise at affordable values. Batswana can do their shopping from the comfort of their homes and have their good delivered to their door steps. Visit www.kalaharifresh.com for more
