Road to Unlocks Continues

50 locals to get VIP treatment at Joburg event

The Castle Lite Unlocks iced up the Mother City Gaborone on Friday for the first time ever. Castle Lite consumers were given a first-hand experience of the Castle Lite Unlocks campaign which is also running in other parts of the SADC region such as Namibia, Lesotho, Zambia and Swaziland.

South African rapper Frank Casino received a nod of approval from Gaborone hip hop fans after a thrilling performance at the Molapo Stanbic Piazza on Friday night. Over a thousand revelers attended the Castle Lite Unlocks event which featured local heavy weights such as Dramaboi, Veezo View, Ban T, Robbie Rob and Brando.

Castle Lite Unlocks was done in a unique fun laced fashion setup with attendees having to pass through a cold big balloon tent by the entrance while the inside had a white backdrop, suggesting a chilled out session for fun lovers.

Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) brand manager Kgomotso Garebakwena said the Castle Lite Unlocks promotion, which has been running since March, continues nationwide and consumers can enter as many times as they wish to increase their chances of winning.

“Unlocks doesn’t end here, consumers can still enter, with a USSD code and stand a chance to win a VIP trip to Chance The Rapper show in South Africa,” said Garebakwena. She also stated that they will announce the first winners on the 16th April and the competition will continue till the 28th April.

This year, KBL raised the bar for their beer brand Castle Lite by creating an opportunity for 50 people to get the VIP experience package to Castle Lite Unlocks Concert in Johannesburg, South Africa, where rising American hip-hop sensation, Chance The Rapper will thrill the crowds on April 30th.

Over the years, the brand has brought to South Africa international artists of huge acclaim such as Drake, Kanye West, Timbaland, Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Wiz Khalifa and J Cole.

Chance will perform at the Castle Lite Unlocks Concerts on April 30th at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa. Tickets are available at Computicket at R350 for general access and R590 for the Golden Circle.
